Course Page

As I go through how my week has been with name boon, day by day. I would like to start of by saying what I have been doing everyday which really helped me to do my tasks throughout later in the day which is the nameboon course page. This course page taught me what  knowledge I would need to know for the day and it tested me at the end after looking through all the power points to see where my brain and head was at.

DAY 1

Day 1 was the start of my journey where I was learning into depth about web hosting, web development and IT support this taught me a lot of stuff I didn’t really know and it taught me how nameboon developed these stuff into their system which really helped me.

DAY 2

In Day 2 I did some QA Testing.QA (Quality Assurance) is a systematic approach to verify whether a product or service meets specified requirements. In simple terms it’s finding if there is any bugs in the system before it fully gets launched so it will be the best possible out come for the customers. When I did the QA testing, I did it for schoolgum.com as I tried to find if their was any bugs or deficiencies on the website by signing up to a free trial and checking if I would receive the right emails which luckily for schoolgum.com I did.

DAY 3

As you see I put a picture of an email because in day 3 I was doing customer interactions, request handling and IT Support. This taught me how to respond to customers demands and do what they demanded for example creating there employees emails. Also I learnt is that you should always stay nice and cool with the customer even if they are very aggressive. I created emails for abifood.co.uk employees then after I emailed them the email and the passwords within 24 hours.

DAY 4

On Day 4 I’m doing content Management systems particularly word press which I am currently doing now as I’m making this website.  I am creating one separate page for “About me” another one for “Work Placement Diary” and the last one for ” Projects”. This teaches me how to setup a page and how to edit it so it doesn’t only look like a word document that I’ve been writing and writing on but I have actually thought of a format to set my page in.

DAY 5

On day 5 I am doing documentation which provides a written record of processes, methodologies, or software operations that can be referred back to when required. I did a documentation on “how to create emails on cPanel” and “how to register a free trial account on gum school.” This helped me to understand that a lot of stuff get documented so it is easier for customers just to get straight knowledge of what they are doing.
